After years of watching market trends and gaining knowledge and experience, Dan Kent has met success in Southeastern North Carolina.

Dan graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Administration in Business in 1983. After working for national building company, Pulte Homes, Dan Kent moved to Wilmington where he founded Kent Homes. Kent Homes began as a residential building company specializing in single family luxury homes. Since its founding in 1989, Kent Homes has expanded tremendously. The addition of the Ridgecrest Homes division was to accommodate the need for more affordable housing. It is the company’s mission to pay close attention to detail, provide superior craftsmanship and sensible pricing. Those are the landmarks by which Ridgecrest Homes operates.

Dan is a former President of the Wilmington – Cape Fear Homebuilders Association. He and his wife, Miriam, have three children.
